How Keuze.nl Got Started
In 2007, Sander’s neighbor Johan knocked on his door with a simple question: “Am I paying too much for my internet plan?” Sander, who was working part-time at an internet provider at the time, realized that the honest answer was actually not to switch to his employer. And that was the advice he gave his neighbor.
What started as a webpage for internet comparisons grew into several easy-to-understand and well-organized comparison sites for energy contracts, internet providers, mobile plans, and insurance. With not only easy comparison tools to help you make the best choice, but also honest advice.
In 2020, we brought more than 20 separate websites together under one name: Keuze.nl. From our office in Utrecht, we now work with a great team toward a single goal: making sure your fixed expenses are well taken care of!

How do you make money?
If you switch providers through Keuze.nl, we receive a one-time commission from the provider, supplier, or insurer. This amount varies by provider and plan and depends on the contract term and any additional options. As a guide:
- Per energy contract signed: €44
- Per internet subscription signed: €60
- Per insurance policy taken out: €25
This fee never influences the order of our comparisons. We also do not have sponsored listings, so you always get an honest comparison.

Heb je via Keuze.nl een energiecontract afgesloten, en wil je gebruikmaken van je bedenktijd (binnen 14 dagen na aanmelden)? Dan kun je je aanvraag herroepen. Dat kan op verschillende manieren:
- Neem contact op met de energieleverancier
- Stuur een mailtje naar klantenservice@keuze.nl
- Of gebruik het formulier om je aanvraag te annuleren
Heb je een contract afgesloten via de website van een leverancier of provider? Dan kunnen wij je aanvraag helaas niet annuleren, omdat wij geen toegang hebben tot je klantgegevens.
